Marco Viçoso is an architect and visual artist whose work explores the relationship between structure, geometry, and atmosphere. Inspired by mid-century modernism and the enduring principles of modern design, his compositions draw from the formal language of twentieth-century architecture.

Design Philosophy

Architecture is more than buildings. It is the relationship between form, light, proportion, and the way spaces make us feel.

My work is inspired by the belief that great architecture deserves to be experienced beyond the built environment. Through illustration, graphic interpretation, and careful composition, I explore the visual language of modernism, transforming architectural ideas into artworks designed for contemporary interiors.

The Process

Every piece begins with research. Architectural drawings, historical photographs, design archives, and iconic buildings provide the foundation for each composition.

Rather than creating literal reproductions, I reinterpret architectural subjects through colour, composition, and atmosphere, seeking to capture what makes a building memorable rather than simply documenting its appearance.
